Finally, we got back to working in the Reserve in November and December. And it was looking really WEEDY.
The Thursday group had five weeding sessions: one at the Liddesdale Entrance, weeding and planting wallaby grass then later sessions on the Brighton slope, beside the Fleetwood steps, under the swing bridge and at the Hoadley entrance.
The Saturday group was happy to reconvene, it had been a long Covid gap since July. The group discovered that the May plantings were thriving, although some twiggy daisy bush had seized their chance to take root.
A busy time.
